March in the studio

I had several things going on in March. I am working on a new series. A few paintings were completed. I also have a commission job I’m working on.

You may have seen in an email or on the socials that I am working on a new art series that will be all about my personal experience with narcolepsy. I am so excited about this series. There has been a lot of ground work going on and now I am about to start the first painting in my series. You can read more about that in a previous blog post.

I completed this commission pet portrait of these pups that shipped out last week. I am still accepting new commissions. If you are interested, visit my commissions page.

While I was waiting for my canvas to arrive for my for the first painting in the series, I started a new painting of my dog Nibbler. Although I love all the pet portraits I have perviously painting, I wanted to redo it in a way that it screams my unique style. I would love to create a painting of your pet in the same style. Check out the instagram reel.

In addition to those two pet portraits, I have also been doing little warm up painting that I pan to add to my shop. I’ll keep you posted and let you know when they are available.

The other project I’m working on is a commission of a couple inspired by a painting they saw on on their cruise. Did you know you can commission me to do more than dog portraits? I don’t really advertise it, but if you have an idea, I’d love to help you bring it to life.
