Cake Boss

In addition to painting, I also teach at my homeschool co-op. January starts a new session, in which, I am teaching cake decorating. It is once a week for 6 weeks. You can find me in my kitchen, the night before class, whipping up several batches of icing or baking cakes. It is a lot of work, but I enjoy seeing the kids practice the techniques I’m teaching and then express a sense of pride when they finally get it. What a great payoff. To protect the children’s privacy, I can't share pictures from class. I will share a few cakes I have done in the past though.
