Paint Holiday Cards with Me

Let your teen handle the holiday cards this year. Share the video below with them. In this video, I will teach them to paint a snowy winter scene that can be painted on cards or a piece of artwork to hang on the wall.

We will talk a little bit about atmospheric perspective and learn a few different painting techniques. This is a pretty easy painting that LOOKS impressive. I promise it is easier than it looks.

For this painting, you will need:

  • watercolor paints

  • watercolor brushes

  • watercolor paper or mixed-media paper

  • masking tape (preferably acid-free)

  • water cup

  • Sharpie marker or Posca paint marker (I use metallic gold)

  • A2 envelope
